*innovation incubation and research concept* Written by *Dr Jitendra A Hole Pune* There was a small town where two friends Ram and Shyam lived. Both were studying engineering. Both were very intelligent and hard working honest hard workers. He always thought that the benefit of our engineering education should be for common people, society and country. So he always looked for new experiments, designs, ideas and thought about them. Innumerable such ideas would arise from his fertile head and then he would discuss them and forget them It was Monday, sir's lecture on thermodynamics. Today the students were in a different mood. He requested sir to lecture us on other topics today. Sir also started talking keeping in mind the tendency of the students.Boys today I am going to discuss the subject of innovation incubation and linkage. Guys, this is a very important topic, I know you have a lot of imagination, planning, ideas, but what to do with it. Just imagine. And on this I am reminded of a Sanskrit verse, "Utpadantecha vilyantecha daridranam manoratha: It means wealth, the vain ideas, thoughts of a person without meaning arise and disappear. Although this is true children, the Government of India has implemented new schemes for research. Among them is Atal Innovation Mission Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog is a flagship initiative of the Government of India to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in the country and was established in 2016. In this direction AIM has adopted a holistic approach to ensure the creation of problem solving innovations. Mindset in schools and creating an ecosystem of entrepreneurship in universities, research institutes, private and MSME sectors. All activities of AIM are currently monitored and managed using a real-time MIS system and dynamic dashboards. AIM is currently undergoing a review of its programs by a third party agency to ensure continuous improvement. Atal Tinkering Labs - School Level. AIM has launched the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) programme ATL is a state-of-the-art space set up in a school with the aim of instilling curiosity and innovation in the minds of the youth, across the country between classes 6th to 12th through 21st century devices and technologies such as Internet of Things, 3D printing, etc. Rapid prototyping tools, robotics, miniature electronics, do-it-yourself kits and more. It aims to foster an innovative problem-solving mindset among children in ATL and nearby communities. To date, AIM has established over 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs in schools across the country. Atal Incubation Centers - Building an ecosystem of startups and entrepreneurs in India *Atal Incubation Centers or AICs* are business incubators set up by AIM in universities, institutes and corporates to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among the country's young innovators. Atal Innovation Incubation Centers aim to foster world-class innovation and support dynamic entrepreneurs who want to build scalable and sustainable enterprises. AIM has successfully operationalized 72 AICs across India. These AICs enable startups by providing technical facilities, resource-based support, mentoring, funding support, partnerships and networking, co-working spaces and laboratory facilities. 3500+ startups are incubating at AIC and have created more than 32000 jobs in the ecosystem. Around 1000+ startups have women leaders and founders. AICs supports startups in various sectors like healthtech, fintech, edtech, space and drone tech, AR/VR, food processing, tourism. Atal Community Innovation Centers - serving unserved and underserved regions of India Atal New India Challenges - Product and service innovation with national impact. By implementing such various activities, the Government of India is trying to make India a developed nation by encouraging new industries. Guys, this is information. Now you tell how to bring your ideas into reality. E.g. Ram and Shyam have a new idea that if that idea is implemented, it will not only lead to the economic development of the society but also provide employment opportunities to many needy students. Then what should Ram Shyam do to investigate where the innovation and incubation center is located. And you have to go to their website and write your thoughts and ideas there. After that the mentors of IIC will see the strength deployment of that idea and then call the applicant for a written interview or presentation. Well Ram Shyam will tell you about the incubation center there. I also tell you about the incubation center. You may be alone that premature baby was born. Then the doctors keep the baby in the incubation center. That is, they keep him there in a safe environment, monitor him, guide him and raise him, and when the baby matures, he is taken out. In the same way, immature ideas are kept in the incubation center and those ideas are matured. And then take them out. Good! There are four types of incubation centers. 1) preincubation 2) corporate incubation 3) physical incubation 4) virtual incubation. Children listen very carefully now! Steps of Innovation Incubation Center are as follows. 1) Preincubation – This involves the journey from idea to prototype. 2) Incubation - It involves the journey from prototype to product development. The center provides all kinds of guidance for this, including technical mentorship, financial services, space requirements etc. 3) Start Up - In this guidance for bringing the product which has been prepared earlier to the market, various types of guidance are given such as business network, venture capital guidance, technical, finance guidance, registration government schemes authentication. And the business is created by establishing a single person company or a company of more than one person. But there is a condition that your company comes under MSME. Now MSME stands for Micra Small Medium Enterprises. You can get this information through internet. 4)Accelerator - In this, there are some services for more innovative researches, scale up, growth in your status e.g. Finance, technical, business development ideas, network, marketing, government schemes, authentication facilities etc. There are many types of guidance. Children are also guided to patent and copyright their new ideas. What is that? *New Idea to Prototype to Product to Patent to Start Up to Accelerator* We should take advantage of the fact that the government is trying for such comprehensive development. This leads to the development of the country along with our own development. Do you understand guys, if anyone has any questions or doubts, ask me. Q.1) What is Startup Incubation Center? The children who have been listening quietly so far have come true from the dream of the industrial world. And went to the canteen discussing tea for breakfast.
